Welcome to Loop. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using Loop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.
1. Using Loop
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account. You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
2. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraud or abuse.
3. Event registration
Loop is a platform that connects athletes with event organizers. When you register for an event, your agreement for that event is with the organizer. Organizers set their own rules, schedules, categories, and policies, including any rules on transfers and cancellations.
4. Payments and fees
Registration prices are set by organizers. Loop may charge a service fee, which is shown before you complete payment. Payments are handled by our third-party payment provider, and completing a payment authorizes that charge.
5. Refunds and cancellations
Refund and cancellation terms are determined by each organizer for their event. If an event is postponed or cancelled, the organizer is responsible for communicating next steps. Loop service fees may be non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Organizer responsibilities
If you publish events on Loop, you’re responsible for the accuracy of your listings, for running your events safely and lawfully, and for honoring the terms you offer to participants.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Loop — including by attempting to disrupt the service, access it without authorization, upload harmful content, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Intellectual property
Loop and its content, logos, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
9. Disclaimers
Loop is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we’re not responsible for the conduct of organizers or participants at events.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or participation in any event.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Loop after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
